Incident Management System - VALOR IMS™

VALOR IMS is a suite of Incident Management System tools, incorporating Computer Aided Dispatch, Records Management, and Mobile Data modules. The CAD can be configured to work with single or multiple agencies and comprehensively provide critical information to field units. Standard Operating Guidelines are customized by your agency to assist dispatchers in handling special situations. The Records Management System allows you to easily manage all aspects of the record keeping process while allowing customization to suit your needs. Our Mobile solution puts the power of our software out in the field, giving all first-responders the same access to data as the dispatcher.

The VALOR IMS provides operational efficiencies through an intuitive user interface. The Graphical User Interface was designed with industry standard Style Guides, providing a clean familiar look with easy navigation. Within minutes, a user will understand the operational flow and begin processing calls and filling out reports.

A TRUE INCIDENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

We have taken a unique approach in designing our Incident Management System. Rather than developing silo applications which simply “interface” or even “integrate” between themselves, Valor believes a “true” Incident management System should be “one” system; starting with the 911 data feed or officer initiation, through the final dispatch disposition, incident report via mobile or in-house, and arrest. Simply put, the incident starts with minimal location data and nature of call, and extends through the entire process offering tremendous efficiencies in managing the incident.

This approach has become well received by agencies of various profiles, simplifying data entry and reducing redundant operations. Valor’s approach is to consider “a user is a user”, rather than segmenting the application out between various departments or roles within the agency. Whether you are in a dispatch role or a first responder in the field, our system extends out to users in their respective roles.

Valor IMS meets your business rules and method of operations. From point of call initiation, the incident data is gathered, expanded, referenced and extended throughout your operational cycle, creating a spectrum of information from dispatch to final case management. As a call is received and processed through dispatch, all data is sent out to the mobile unit in the cruiser or fire apparatus.

Since ValorMobile is a true extension of ValorCAD and ValorRMS running in your station, all modules are available in the field if role-based permissions are granted.

While on scene, status updates from ValorMobile are real-time, keeping all first responders and your communications center up to date as the situation unfolds. Special alerts regarding premise, hazmat, medical and even history are available with ValorMobile, enabling first responders to be better informed and prepared for handling various situations. The built in web portal enables a first responder to access pre-defined web sites to extend their knowledge base.

Once on-scene activity has subsided, an officer may begin to complete their incident report in ValorMobile. A complete report may be sent in for supervisor approval, or an officer may prepare a partial report that requires supplemental reports and images once back in the station for comprehensive case management. Any special alerts or warrants then become available in ValorCAD, enriching your cycle of Incident Management and Situation Awareness.
